INFOCOMM 2008 Las Vegas June 18,19&20:TCFHOHE instructor Robert Scovill will be participating in INFOCOMM on behalf of Digidesign June 18-20th. ULTRA X: Ultra Music Festival have tapped SMAART 101 instructors Doug Fowler and Harry Brill, Jr. for alignment and equalization of the festival systems. UMF is the largest electronic music festival in the U.S. and will feature some of the top names in the business. The Main Stage headliners are DJ Tiesto and Paul Van Dyk. This marks the second time Fowler and Brill have collaborated on Ultra system tuning. Check out the UMF web site at

AES 2007: TCFOHE instructor Robert Scovill was a busy participant at this years AES trade show in New York City. Aside from his duties with Digidesign he also participated in the Platinum Road Warriors and Sound System Tuning panels as well as moderating a panel on Digital Technology in Live Sound. Panel members included famed mixers David Morgan (James Taylor, Steely Dan), Eddie Mapp (Evanescence), Scott Ragsdale (Willow Creek Church, Joyce Meyer Ministries) Forrest Grosz Live Production Institute, Derek Featherstone (Ultrasound) and Barry Sanders with Spectrum Sound.
