2010 Workshop Information - Audio and Acoustic for Conference Systems Workshop

We are introducing on-line training. Check out this introductory video.

We are very pleased to announce some major upgrades for 2010. With the changes in technology and the world economy, we feel our plans are being introduced at the perfect time.

Our goal is to provide training to more people and to encourage more "synergy" among our members. Here are a few ways we hope to accomplished that goal:

• Technology is available to allow us to generate very effective online content.
• Costs for attendees will be greatly reduced since they will no longer have to travel or take time off from work.
• On-line training will allow us to expand our reach in the audio industry, especially in the international market.
• The content can be replayed until attendees “get it”.
• Attendees can learn on their own schedule.
  

We are continuing to offer live training.

• Some topics are better suited to be taught in this format.
• The "hands on" content and the material that is constantly changing will continue to be offered as live training.
• This will allow more time for workshops: one time events on special topics that are taught by industry experts.
  

We are upgrading our web site.

• The new site will encourage more synergy and sharing.
• The content will be reorganized and easier to use.
• The infrastructure will exist to quickly add new content and ideas as technology changes.
  

We have dedicated all of our resources as well as the resources of a group of experts in web technology to implement these substantial upgrades. We plan to roll them out in May 2010

As a result, our In-person training schedule will be light this year.
